Edinburgh - Team Manager (Maternity Cover)

As a Team Manager, you will be an ambassador of the brand. You will take ownership to lead and coach your team, build client relationships, proactively foster the achievement of sales goals, and ensure that the highest level of client experience is delivered. You will be responsible for recruiting and developing highly motivated teams, preparing them for future roles, and securing succession plans. You will represent the brand values and demonstrate the Louis Vuitton attitudes toward clients and team members.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Team Management and Development
  • Ensure your team delivers the Louis Vuitton Promise to every client by demonstrating and modeling the Louis Vuitton Attitudes.
  • Support team members with coaching, identify their development needs, and partner with the Field Coach Trainer to create tailored development plans.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop talents; secure succession plans in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  • Set individual and team goals; monitor and manage performance.
  • Motivate the team to drive business, foster a positive work environment, and promote cooperation.
  • Client and Business Development
    • Help build long-term client relationships and leverage clienteling tools.
    • Establish a client-centric culture to ensure excellent client experiences.
    • Communicate the company's strategy and business updates through briefings and training.
    • Provide product recommendations based on market and client needs, sharing insights within the team.
    • Develop action plans to boost sales and maximize product performance using visual merchandising and team activities.
  • Selling and Floor Management
    • Lead by example in sales, support team sales efforts, and encourage cross-selling and repeat business.
    • Manage personal client portfolio and ensure sales floor is effectively managed.
  • Optional: Champion a Product Category
    • Act as a store reference for product performance and market trends, providing feedback to the Merchandising team.
    • Support product category sales through team animations, briefings, and mentoring.
  • Operations
    • Communicate and enforce policies, brand standards, and grooming guidelines.
    • Assist in inventory management and staff planning.
