The opportunityIAG Loyalty manages the Avios currency, which millions of customers collect and spend every year through our range of loyalty programmes. We offer many ways for customers to collect and spend Avios, including using our branded credit cards, shopping, or holidays, with over 125 partners. We also create proprietary Avios collection and spend products, fully managed on our platforms.
The role is within the Site Merchandising team. You will be responsible for optimizing the variable retail websites operated by IAGL Retail, IAGL, and partners. Your goal is to determine what products and content are displayed, where, when, and how, to maximize commercial performance of our digital retail channels.
You will collaborate with Targeted/Trade Marketing Teams and Merchandising to develop strategies and execute trading plans aligned with business goals, supported by Content and Product Owners. You will manage content plans, campaign calendars, and merchant offers to deliver impactful onsite promotions focused on visibility, search, and promotion.
The eCommerce Manager, responsible for digital performance through merchandising activities, should have a retailing background, a solid understanding of cloud-based ecommerce platforms, digital merchandising tools, and best practices in content creation.
What you'll get up to- Direct the content production plan, ensuring cohesive delivery across the customer's digital experience.
- Maintain online content using proprietary and external SaaS tools like Catalyst, Shogun, BigCommerce, and Klevu.
- Work with Strategy & Planning Manager, Product Owners, Engagement Managers, and Merchandising to set and execute merchandising strategies for retail products.
- Enhance brand appearance on-site via images, mobile-optimized content, reviews, and other ecommerce elements, aiming to improve KPIs such as traffic, conversion, and AOV.
- Monitor site placement value and trade placements accordingly through Collinson and B2B partners via the Marketing team.
- Develop methodologies with Insight Analysts to demonstrate the value of featured placements and influence investment decisions.
- Coordinate seasonal trading activities, ensuring readiness for key periods like Easter, Summer, and Christmas.
- Create offer scopes and editorial content briefs to support trading and SEO efforts.
- Lead digital experience projects, including customer journey mapping and integrating social media to drive sales.
- Use data insights to identify UX improvements, enhancing conversion and shopping experiences.
- Contribute to the delivery of innovative online experiences, collaborating with Tech, Marketing, and Merchandising teams for campaign planning and execution.
- Experienced trading manager with a proven track record in digital commercial performance.
- Target-driven with strong commercial acumen, understanding key performance levers.
- Experience working with and influencing agile product teams.
- Data and finance literate, capable of modeling the impact of offers and earn rate changes.
