Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Digital & Technology brand as their new Ecommerce Lead. With a reputation for innovation, strong investment in resource, and a collaborative culture, this is a role where you'll have the scope to shape and drive performance across digital channels.

The Role

As Ecommerce Lead, you'll take responsibility for a £20m digital and performance marketing strategy, ensuring the best possible online customer experience and driving commercial performance.

Your focus will be on trading and user experience, optimising product, pricing and promotions to maximise sales and customer acquisition. You'll also play a key role in shaping future website development and overseeing a comprehensive CRO plan.

  • Lead the Ecommerce strategy, delivering best-in-class usability and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee all aspects of website performance, customer experience and sales optimisation.

  • Identify and scope opportunities for future website development.

  • Manage and develop a team, ensuring objectives are met and exceeded.

  • Analyse site performance using customer data, metrics, competitor analysis and research, translating insights into action.

  • Support content coordination and promotional planning.

  • Track competitors and market activity to identify areas of opportunity.

  • Oversee CRO initiatives with agency support, ensuring recommendations translate into measurable results.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an Ecommerce Manager or Lead, with a track record of driving traffic, conversion and customer acquisition.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics.

  • Experience managing and developing teams, promoting accountability and ownership.

  • Magento experience is essential, with strong knowledge of merchandising and CRO initiatives.

  • Ability to interpret data and translate into commercial actions.

  • Exposure to digital marketing strategies, with close collaboration across SEO, paid media and wider digital teams.

  • Understanding of web development and UX/UI principles.

  • Experience with A/B testing and personalisation tools.

  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to make informed trading decisions.
