Job Description

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Ballymena. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and enjoys helping children learn, develop, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.

Full-time hours: 30 hours per week

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare & Education, or a willingness to work towards this qualification
Essential Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (or equivalent), with proof required
Applicants must be aged 18 or over in line with minimum standards
Previous nursery experience is desirable

If you work 21 hours or more per week in a childcare setting, you may be eligible to complete your qualification through the Apprenticeship NI programme.

We are looking for someone who is caring, dependable, and a strong team player, with a genuine passion for supporting children in their early years.
