Early Years Level 3 Apprenticeship - Dragonflies Nursery

Dragonflies aims to motivate, inspire and challenge children in their learning, creating a space where fascination, creativity and endless possibilities for learning are at the core of everything it does.

Outdoor play is an important part of the experience at the nursery. In the dedicated garden area, children enjoy exploring wildlife, cooking in the mud kitchen, performing on the decked stage area and digging for treasure in the wooden digging planter.

With trips to the neighbouring farm and walks around the picturesque village, the outdoors forms a key part of the nursery experience at Badminton. Forest School sessions are run in the woods opposite the nursery for children aged three years and over, and physical activity sessions take place in the main hall on Wednesday mornings.

Level 2 qualified and ready to take the next step to Level 3? Dragonflies Nursery is seeking a motivated apprentice to join its friendly and supportive team. Could this be you? Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing fun and educational activities with the children
• Play alongside and with children to support their play
• Supporting children's creative and imaginative experiences
• Supervising children at rest times and at mealtimes
• Contributing to and promoting health and safety
• Ensuring the play area is clean and tidy at all times
• Working closely with parents and providing feedback on their child

Entry requirements

Good Maths- A-C (9-4) Grades in maths or equivalent is desired but not essential
Good English - A-C (9-4) Grades in English or equivalent is desired but not essential

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma
• End-Point Assessment (EPA)
• On the job training
