Learning Support Practitioner for Reception
ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant should:
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Have high expectations of what children can achieve
- Be able to inspire, engage and challenge all learners
- Be able to communicate effectively with children, parents, carers and colleagues
- Be supportive of our Christian ethos
- The successful applicant will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent and have good literacy and numeracy skills.
- An online search will be undertaken on all shortlisted candidates. (This will be discussed at interview.)
- The successful applicant will be required to undertake all relevant safeguarding checks and an enhanced DBS check.
- This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children's Barring List Check.
- The ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Hours: 32.5 hrs per week
Grade: Grade D, SCP 9-17 (£27,254 p.a. - £31,022 p.a.) Actual Salary £21,361 p.a. - £24,943 p.a.
