Job title: Early Years Graduate Lead Educator

Weekly Hours: 39 hours per week

Nursery Times is seeking a passionate, experienced and professional Early Years Graduate Lead Educator to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified educator who is committed to excellence in early childhood education and delivering high-quality care in a supportive, child-centered environment.

About the Role. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
  • Support children's emotional, social, cognitive and physical development.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
  • Promote inclusive practice including the development of language skills in both English and an additional language.
  • Support the Person in Charge in maintaining compliance with Tusla regulations.
  • Mentor and support junior staff where required.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and families.
  • Maintain accurate observations, planning and assessment records.
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 8 Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education (or equivalent recognized by DCEDIY)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an early year's setting
  • Bilingual as we are a multicultural service where English is not a child's first language
  • Experience supporting a child in a classroom with additional needs is required
  • Strong knowledge of Aistear, Síolta and Tusla regulations
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid, Children First and Manual Handling (desirable)
