Job Description

Early Years Educator responsible for providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children in line with the Aistear and Síolta frameworks. Duties include supporting children's learning and development, planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining records, ensuring health and safety standards, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

Minimum qualification is Fetac level 5 in Early years or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for children
• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with Aistear and Síolta
• Supervise children during play, meals, and rest times
• Maintain daily records and observations of children's progress
• Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Assist with hygiene, feeding, and personal care routines
• Prepare and maintain a clean and organised classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
