Reed Further Education are working in partnership with colleges, training providers, and sixth form institutions across the North West and Yorkshire to recruit experienced and dedicated Early Years Childcare & Education Lecturers for a range of temporary, long-term, and permanent positions.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Early Years professionals and lecturers who are committed to delivering engaging and high-quality teaching to learners studying Early Years, Childcare, and Education qualifications.

The Role:

As an Early Years Childcare & Education Lecturer, you will:

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Early Years and Childcare programmes.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
• Assess, monitor, and track learner progress.
• Support students to achieve their academic and career goals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities.
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion within the learning environment.

We Are Looking For:

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
• Relevant Early Years and Childcare qualifications (Level 3 or above).
• Experience teaching Early Years, Childcare, Education, or related subjects within Further Education, Sixth Form, Training Provider, or Secondary settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to learner success and educational excellence.

Desirable:

• Assessor and/or IQA qualifications.
• Experience delivering T Levels, CACHE, NCFE, BTEC, or Early Years apprenticeships.
• Industry experience within nursery, preschool, or educational settings.
