Job Description
Job Summary

Bright Horizons Purley Day Nursery and Preschool is looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our team in Purley, London.

Salary and Location

Salary: From £29,432 per annum (dependent on qualification(s) and experience).

Location: Purley, London.

Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5, guiding them through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curiosity to support their development towards key milestones.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and delivering learning activities, support individual children's progress, maintain a safe and stimulating environment, and collaborate with colleagues to meet development goals.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience working with children (ideal but not essential). Examples: Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
