Early Intervention Teacher

We are currently recruiting a full-time Early Intervention Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team which includes Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs), Psychologists and experienced early years educators.

The starting date for this position is 2nd of November 2026.

The Lighthouse Centre is a specialist early intervention service supporting children aged 3-5 years with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our centre is grounded in evidence-based practice, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration.

Role Overview

This position offers an excellent opportunity for early years graduates seeking hands on experience in early intervention and behavioural psychology. Successful candidates will work directly with children with ASD, contributing to meaningful developmental progress through structured, evidence based interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised teaching programmes
• Implement behaviour support plans under supervision
• Support the development of communication, social, and daily living skills
• Carry out structured teaching in areas such as toileting and feeding programmes
• Collect and record data to monitor child progress
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality care

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Early Years & Childhood Studies, or Montessori Education
• Approval to work with children from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs
• Children First certification
• Clean Garda Vetting (processed by The Lighthouse Centre)
• Experience working with children (preferred)
