Early Childhood Educator

9.15am to 12.15pm daily. Part time, term time only.

Early childhood educator role working with ECCE children aged 2.8 years to 5 years old

• Curriculum & Activities: Plan, organise, and implement age-appropriate activities focusing on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Supervision & Safety: Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of children through active supervision, adhering to health and safety regulations, and maintaining a clean, orderly classroom.
• Observation & Assessment: Observe and document children's progress using observational tools, such as Aistear assessments, to support individual learning needs.
• Care Routines: Assist with personal care, where necessary
• Communication: Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development, needs, and daily activities.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and participate in staff meetings and team training
