E-commerce Sales & Strategy Specialist

A Japanese sports manufacturer is seeking an E-commerce Sales & Strategy Specialist to lead and support the growth of its international online sales and B2B customer engagement in Europe.

This is a multifaceted role where you'll design and drive e-commerce strategies, launch innovative sales initiatives, and optimize B2B operations through smart system implementation. WORK TYPE: Hybrid working may be available depending on the situation

TYPE: Starts from 1 year fixed term contract, but the aim is long-term employment

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours/week from Monday to Friday

SALARY: 3,000-3,500 euros per month, + 8% holiday allowance, depending on experience

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Amsterdam (Office-based)

ALLOWANCE: Travel expenses covered


Main Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Strategy Planning

• Build annual and monthly revenue goals and KPIs

• Develop channel- and product-specific sales strategies

• Define customer segmentation and key selling points

• Set pricing strategies aligned with inventory and margin goals


2. Promotions & Campaigns

• Plan and manage promotions such as seasonal sales, coupons, and exclusive bundles

• Coordinate campaign participation and negotiations with e-commerce platforms

• Direct the production of marketing assets such as landing pages and banners

• Collaborate on cross-channel promotions via social media, email marketing, and digital ads


3. New Channel Development

• Explore new EC platforms and lead their implementation


4. B2B Sales System Implementation

• Streamline sales operations for B2B clients such as corporate accounts and distributors

• Select and implement new systems with EC x sales hybrid operations in mind

• Visualize internal workflows and integrate tools (ERP, CRM, etc.)

• Lead requirement gathering and project coordination with internal teams and external partners


Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital sales operations

• Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (experience with Amazon is highly valued)

• Strong understanding of promotions and digital marketing principles

• Comfortable with Excel, Google Analytics, and EC back-end tools

• Fluent in English (mandatory); other European languages are a plus

• Strategic thinker with a flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach
