E-Commerce Key Account Manager - Iberia


Main priority of this role is to unleash the potential of the e-commerce customers and to adapt to the evolution of this fast-changing market, ensuring online market share growth by supporting our customers with online activations and materials.


The role requires a balance of commercial skills and strategic vision while at the same time being able to fully influence the Customer. He/she will be the Royal Canin representative for e-commerce strategy and execution in our main omnichannel key accounts.


This is done in collaboration with key stakeholders within the RC Regional teams & Local teams as Sales, Demand, Communication and Marketing.


This role will be part of Key Account Management team and will work closely with the Account Lead, acting as the main owner of online business development.


This role requires strong prioritization, a drive for results, and a high degree of autonomy. The role must be able to prepare the data that tells the story for the entire online business positioning for our largest customers.


THE JOB

We are looking for someone to join our team to lead the management of online plan in key customers to maximize the growth of the science-health nutrition category and deliver our brand objectives on online channel.


The role of e-comm within the organization is extremely important in a changing digital commerce environment and will complement the expert KAM team to ensure implementation of our strategy in omnichannel clients in Spain and Portugal, aligning with Pillar strategy.


From his role, the E-comm KAM will develop the customer relationship with the goal of reaching our online quantitative & qualitative objectives, boosting online sales thanks to digital activations.


This is an extremely exciting role as it has the potential to transform how we market, communicate and sell our products online. An ideal candidate would have a background in translating data to bring strategic insights in a simple but impactful way to understand for the end users, not only leading brand's e-comm development which ensures sales output but also leading RC associates' engagement in e-comm strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build long-term relationship with client's online teams, understanding strengths and concerns of clients and providing opportunities for client development by assuring the maximum grade of interaction between stakeholders in each account, building mutual trust and collaboration.


  • Responsible for developing and deploying the e-commerce annual plan for each client and the achievement of quantitative and qualitative results on the online channel.


  • Along with KAM, develop online joint business plans for accounts, setting joint business targets with each customer and measuring & analyzing the performance of digital marketing campaigns with proper KPIs reporting.


  • Responsible for the accounts online sales forecasting process through the S&OP+ process, Responsible to achieve the sales objectives, in terms of vol/NTO/NSV/profitability for the determined accounts of the channel. Provides input into DMR meetings as it relates to forecast variances, and quantifies risks and opps in tandem with KAM.


  • Implement and execute Perfect Digital Store strategy in clients (product pages, branded areas on web pages).


  • Elaborate specific online activation/promotional plans for each account, aligned with trade-marketing and KAM. Provides promotional simulations to quantify incremental sales potential, plus financial spend exposure. Runs post-mortem promo recaps, and includes key insights from campaigns and high-level recommendations moving forward.


  • Ensure online strategic projects are on-track to be delivered engaging key internal and external stakeholders in all stages of the project to secure their support where required.


  • Provides visibility and analysis of pricing dynamics within eCommerce landscape with reporting tools as MInderest.


  • Provides online market share analysis aligned with Category team using tools as Fox Intelligence (Nielsen).


What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5 years' work experience within e-commerce Business and experience with building collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and excellent use of office tools (Microsoft Excel&PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) to a variety of audiences.
