DV Cleared Linux/UNIX Systems Administrator

We are looking for an experienced DV Cleared Linux/UNIX Systems Administrator to support a secure technology environment delivering and maintaining critical infrastructure and applications.

This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone with strong Red Hat Linux and UNIX/Solaris administration experience, ideally gained within Defence, MOD, Government or another highly secure environment.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Active DV clearance - essential
• Strong commercial experience as a Linux/UNIX Systems Administrator
• Extensive Red Hat/RHEL administration
• Strong Solaris/Sun UNIX experience highly desirable
• Server build, configuration, patching, upgrades and troubleshooting
• Production support across physical and virtualised environments
• Security hardening, vulnerability remediation and patch management
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Shell Scripting and automation
• VMware/virtualisation
• Configuration management using Ansible, Puppet or similar
• ITIL-based incident, problem and change management
• Good understanding of networking, DNS, NFS, TCP/IP and storage
