Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
  • Lead, coach, and support warehouse staff to maintain a high performing, motivated team.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock control activities to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to maintain timely and efficient logistics.
  • Identify process improvements to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Handle incoming deliveries and oversee proper storage and organisation of stock.
  • Maintain clean and orderly warehouse conditions, ensuring space is optimised for safety and efficiency.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track, report, and manage daily tasks and performance metrics.
  • Liaise with branch and area management to align warehouse activities with wider business goals.
Skills and Experience
  • Great communication skills demonstrate the ability to develop customer and colleague relationships.
  • Leading a warehouse operations team with a customer first attitude.
  • Knowledge of Recruitment processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of P Ls, and the booking of in and out stock.
  • Strong ability to highlight and resolve Health and Safety concerns.
  • Ability to review, challenge and develop colleagues in order to achieve their best and help them develop.
