Location: Ballymena
Hours: 4 days on/4 days off
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

A leading FMCG manufacturer in the Ballymena area is seeking an experienced Dual-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. The Role:

• Carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on production equipment
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and increase reliability
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to production
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to safety procedures at all times
• Work closely with production and quality teams to deliver operational excellence

What We're Looking For:

• Time-served engineer with dual-skilled background (electrical & mechanical)
• Experience working in an FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability across production machinery
• Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous but not essential)
• Flexible, team-oriented, and safety-conscious
