Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join one of the UK's leading automotive logistics operations.

Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we have ongoing opportunities available year-round across day, afternoon and night shifts, with optional weekend work and excellent overtime rates.

This is a clean and professional role within the automotive sector, offering stable, long-term work with no handball involved.

What You'll Be Doing

• Local delivery and collection of automotive parts

• Sequenced deliveries from manufacturing facilities into production plants

• Occasional deliveries to suppliers and manufacturing sites

• Working shifts between 8-12 hours

• Flexible start times depending on shift preference

PAYE Rates

• Days (06:00-18:00): £15.95 per hour

• Nights (18:00-06:00): £19.26 per hour

• Overtime after 8 hours: £23.91 - £26.95 per hour

• Weekend rates up to £30.80 per hour

Increased pay rates available after 12 months service.

Driver Requirements

• Minimum 6 months Class 1 (C E) experience

• Must have held Class 1 licence for at least 2 years

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• Maximum 6 points for minor offences

Assessment Process

Successful drivers will complete:

• Written assessment on Drivers' Hours and Tachograph regulations

• Site induction and safe systems of work briefing

• Vehicle familiarisation

• Practical driving assessment
