Be our driving force.

As a full-time soldier, entry-level Driver for the British Army, you'll:

Play an essential role in transporting soldiers and supplies across the world

Ensure people, ammunition, rations, and equipment arrive safe and sound

Drive through desert, jungle, snow, and mountain roads

Train on a range of vehicles from quad bikes to HGVs

Learn cross-country driving, convoy driving, navigating, loading, driving at night, and more

Gain qualifications in logistics, including a Level 2 apprenticeship in Driving Goods Vehicles

To qualify, you must be between 16 years 6 months and 35 years 6 months and pass a basic

fitness test.

During your initial training, you'll earn £27,282. If you set your mind to it, you could reach

Corporal within 5 years, earning £40,989.

You'll also receive 30 days' annual leave every year (plus bank holidays and extra leave

after operations), free medical and dental care, cheaper living costs, and free gym and

sports facilities. And unless you're away on operations or training exercises, you'll normally

work 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

because we'll give you all the entry-level training you need.
