Description
Hybrid working from our office in Maryport 2 days per week and the rest at home.
Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Salary circa £47,000 pa, depending on skills and experience.

You'll lead the delivery of customer-focused electrical installation and maintenance services across responsive and void properties-coordinating work programmes, guiding both in-house teams and subcontractors, and ensuring we get things right first time, every time.

You have
A relevant qualification in an electrical discipline, with excellent knowledge of managing electrical safety and compliance works in a housing and maintenance environment.
HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a building services discipline and/or equivalent operational knowledge and experience.
A relevant health and safety qualification and experience managing health and safety at work, including CDM regulations and all compliance regulations relating to gas activities.
Proven ability to keep projects and programmes of work on track, on time, and to budget, driving performance, productivity, and quality.
Previous experience of leading a team in delivering electrical maintenance and compliance services as well as managing subcontractors. You'll make it a great place to work for colleagues and be comfortable having those difficult conversations where needed.
Typical day as Electrical Manager
You'll be our NICEIC duty holder, fulfilling your duties with this registration and ensuring our in-house teams and contractors' works are managed in line with legislation.
Developing and leading your team of Supervisors and Electricians to deliver right first-time, high-quality electrical compliance servicing, repairs, and installations in our customers' properties and voids. This includes electrical testing, inspections, repairs, and remedial works.
Managing teams, subcontractor, and supplier performance, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards, working within budget, KPI's, and service standards.
Managing health and safety, ensuring we comply with regulatory, health and safety standards.
Ensuring high levels of performance and productivity, driving quality and value for money services.
Working with your team to continuously look for new ways to drive continuous improvement and service innovation.

Job details
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This is a hybrid role working from our office in Maryport, from home, and leading our Electrical team across North Lakes.
Confident using technology for monitoring progress of works, budget management, and ensuring compliance records and certifications are effectively stored and maintained. You'll get a Surface Pro and mobile.
A full current driving licence and access to your own vehicle. We'll pay your mileage.
You'll need a basic DBS and Health Check, which we pay for.
