Job Description

Grade UE02: £24,547 per annum pro rata for part time (£13.45 per hour) plus a 5% premium band for flexible working

Department: CSG / Accommodation, Catering and Events / Property

Schedule: Part time, 14 hours per week (4 hours over 7 days), open ended (permanent), evening work.

The Opportunity

In this role you will be part of the busy cleaning team based primarily in student accommodation. You will interact with a wide range of customers on a daily basis throughout the year. The successful candidate will be involved in the preparation, set up, cleaning and servicing of bedrooms and communal areas.

These posts may require working occasional weekends during the commercial period (June September) and may be located away from the usual work site.

  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Manage time effectively and meet cleaning schedules.
  • Communicate professionally with a wide range of customers.
  • Work independently and as part of a team within a busy environment.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and service in bedrooms and communal areas.
