Domestic / Kitchen Assistant - Part Time (Days) - Nursing Home - AV1928B

Location: Central Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset

Pay: £13.00 Per Hour

Hours: 30 Hours Per Week (8:00am - 2:00pm shifts)

The Role

As a Domestic / Kitchen Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, while supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
  • Cleaning resident rooms, communal areas, and facilities
  • Supporting infection control and hygiene standards
  • Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and service
  • Ensuring dining areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming
  • Following health & safety and food hygiene guidelines
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
About You
  • Previous experience in a domestic or kitchen role (desirable)
  • A positive, reliable, and hardworking approach
  • Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Understanding of hygiene and safety standards (training can be provided)
  • A caring and respectful attitude towards residents
