Part Time Working Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 4.30pm.

We're looking for Domestic Assistants to help keep our hospital spaces clean, fresh, and welcoming. You'll help ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors by using modern cleaning methods and equipment across different areas including bathrooms, floors, carpets, and surfaces.

About you: You take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces. You have experience working in a domestic role or a public facing environment, you're detail oriented and eager to contribute to a supportive team, and you bring a positive attitude and a commitment to high standards.

Main duties of the job

• Cleaning ceilings, windows and window frames
• Removing radiator covers and cleaning radiators and vents
• Wall washing, changing curtains, and steam cleaning beds, cots and other fixtures and fittings
• Transporting high ladders, beds and cots around the hospital and working at heights as required

We do not offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 roles.

Qualifications

• GCSE-level education or functional skills, or equivalent experience
• Basic Food Hygiene
• NVQ level 1&2 in Cleaning Sciences or equivalent

Experience

• Experience working in a domestic role
• Experience working in a public-facing environment

Knowledge & Experience

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks appropriately
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy
