Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of Support Services staff within St Andrews Community Hospital. You will be required to carry out cleaning duties within the wards and departments in the hospital. Applicants must have a positive attitude towards work and also have the ability to work on their own or as part of a team. Full training will be given. Excellent rate of pay, uniform and PPE supplied, access to workplace pension scheme, along with excellent holiday entitlement, 27 days on commencement plus 8 public holidays and family friendly policies.

This post is mainly dayshift approx 9.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
