Job Title: Diving and Maritime Assistant Supervisor

Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth

Service Area: Asset Management, Diving Services

Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30-17:15

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000

What you'll be doing:

• You'll play a key part in delivering reactive and planned diving and maritime operations across Portsmouth, ensuring all work is carried out safely, professionally, and to the highest standards.
• This is a role for someone who's hands on, safety driven, and eager to lead when required - whether that's overseeing a dive, coordinating documentation, or supporting the wider diving team.

About you:

• A valid First Aid at Work certificate
• An in date ADC Supervisor Certificate
• A strong understanding of the Diving at Work Regulations 1997, ACoP L104, and HSEG 3003
• Competence in writing and reviewing dive documentation
• HSE approved Surface Supplied certification (minimum)
• Experience with underwater husbandry and civil engineering techniques
• Medical fitness to undertake commercial diving duties
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance
• Full UK driving licence
