District Prevention Manager & Safeguarding Lead - West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service

Are you an experienced community education/safety professional? Do you want to work in a role where each day is different and where you can make a difference to the community we serve?

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the country's leading Fire and Rescue Services; to become part of a team where everyone plays their part in making West Yorkshire Safer.

You will have the opportunity to lead a diverse team ensuring the community of Calderdale are safe in their homes. You will work with a range of partners to develop pathways to reduce the risk from fires, and anti-social fire related behaviour across the District.

You will need to demonstrate an excellent team ethos, leadership skills and a track record of success in managing delivery teams and experience of working with 'at risk' groups. Applicants will have extensive experience of working with a range of agencies at strategic level and performance managing and evaluating a range of community safety initiatives.

Salary: £39,152 rising to £41,771 per annum
