About the Role:

Our client, a reputable independent group with two practices in the Cambridgeshire area, is seeking an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their team on a full-time, 5-day basis. You'll be part of a knowledgeable team of 7-8 optical professionals, including an Optometrist, Contact Lens Optician, and other experienced Dispensing Opticians, all dedicated to supporting one another. With 5-6 testing days and a 3-day Contact Lens clinic each week, you'll be joining a busy and varied practice environment.

Your role will involve:

• Delivering outstanding customer service to a loyal and diverse patient base.
• Dispensing to all levels, conducting pre-screen assessments, and providing contact lens education.
• Supporting colleagues with expertise and offering guidance as needed.
• Assisting with occasional reception and administrative duties.

What We're Looking For:

• GOC registered and up-to-date with CET points.
• Team-oriented, ideally with experience working in an independent practice setting.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary of up to £27,500 for the right experience.
• Additional benefits include GOC fees covered and matched pension contributions.
• Working hours: Mon-Fri, 09:00 - 17:30 (1-hour lunch); Sat, 09:00 - 16:30.
• No Sunday shifts.
