Our Precast Division is a high performing and profitable business unit, supporting customers across Ireland and the UK. With industry leading expertise, supported by advanced manufacturing facilities, we produce and supply a comprehensive range of high quality precast concrete products.

We are currently seeking an experienced Dispatch Yard Lead to join our Precast team based in Arthurstown, Co. Kildare.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the shipping/logistics team.
• Oversee the planning and coordination of product deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment within our SLA's.
• Coordinate with internal departments to optimize the supply chain.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and returns.
• Maintain comprehensive records of shipping activities.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Lead daily loading, storage and dispatching activities.
• Take a proactive lead on health and safety within the location.

Skills Required

• Proven experience in shipping, dispatch or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Knowledge of slinging and good lifting practices.
• Experience driving machinery (preferred but not necessary).
