RoleSupervision of finished goods and packaging warehouse. The position acts as a key liaison between commercial, production, quality and accounts departments in relation to stock control, management, and release.
Responsibilities- Overall administration of the dispatch and warehouse function in the cheese stores.
- Load picking, assembly, labelling and other duties required for dispatch to end customers.
- Manage daily transfer of stock from main factory site and any inbound return loads to the factory.
- Work with Lab for timely issuing of COA's and product release.
- Respond to emails in a timely and respectful fashion as a customer representative of ArraTipp.
- Manage accuracy of Stock on Soft-trace and have a thorough working knowledge of Soft-trace Inventory system.
- Troubleshoot and elevate IT issues effectively.
- Be familiar with customer specification and Purchase Order requirements and know the information to look out for such as export documentation and special requirements.
- Develop best practice for warehouse and dispatch area including SOP'S, Risk assessments, new systems etc.
- Assist with Internal and External audits as required.
- Contribute to H&S and food safety conversations.
- Report accidents / near misses on Dulann reporting system.
- Assist with yearend stock take.
- Other adhoc duties as required.
- Experience in a similar warehouse/dispatch role preferable.
- Strong computer skills with a good working knowledge of Softtrace Inventory system and Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, understand and solve problems daily in a timely fashion.
- Excellent organizational / time management skills.
- Excellent customer relations.
- High motivation, flexibility, and ability to work on own initiative.
- Team-worker with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a continuous improvement mind-set.
- Fluency in English, written and oral.
