Dispatch and Yard Manager

As our Dispatch and Yard Manager, you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of Manufactured products to customers across the Central North Island region, scheduling deliveries and co-ordinating the business unit's and contractor trucks to provide a cost effective and on time service to our customers.

The ideal candidate might also have Class 4/5 Licence to help support with deliveries when required.

AstheDispatch and Yard Manager youwill:

• Maintain the daily operations in the yard, delegating tasks to staff and ensuring the yard is kept in good shape
• Ensure loads are stacked and loaded quickly, efficiently and safely
• Proactively maintain professional standards of vehicles, including all legislative requirements with NZTA
• Manage the unloading of incoming deliveries, yard storage, stock rotation and delivery to manufacturing teams
• Lead and develop the yard team, by inspiring, supporting and motivating to encourage growth and success
• Uphold best practice standards by leading from the front and ensuring all H&S standards are met and adhered to

Aboutyou:

• Committed to delivering exceptional customer service
• Proven team leadership experience (ideally in a similar role)
• Class 4/5 Licence is desirable
• Forklift F Endorsement with OSH Certificate
• Physically Fit
• Experience in logistics and transportation fleet management
• Capable with navigating computer systems and technology
• Building knowledge is beneficial
