About Our Client 
My client is a public affairs/comms agency with a strong economics team producing evidence based research for clients. They are known for being experts in infrastructure, tech and FS.
Job Description- Develop and implement comprehensive policy strategies aligned with industry standards and economic trends.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of regulatory developments and their potential impacts on the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure policies are effectively communicated and integrated.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including industry bodies and regulators, to represent the organisation's interests.
- Provide expert advice on policy and economic matters to senior leadership and other departments.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented policies, making recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on policy and economic initiatives for internal and external audiences.
- Stay updated on global and local economic trends impacting the media and agency industry.
A successful Director, Policy & Economics should have:
- A strong background in policy development, ideally with experience of selling to their work to private sector clients.
- A solid understanding of economic principles and their application in policy-making.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and regulatory analysis.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- A track record of successfully managing complex projects and initiatives.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in policy, economics, or a related field.
- A competitive salary of £80,000-£110,000 (FTE) per annum, depending on experience.
