In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products.
The Panel level Product Group is focused on wet processing for advanced packaging on large panel formats such as ECD and wet cleans & etch.
We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve new challenges in the semiconductor advanced packaging arena.

Aufgaben

The Impact You'll Make

Technical and operational leadership of the process technology team including development and demo lab activities, advancement of the process technology roadmap, helping define hardware requirements to meet the technology roadmap, cost of ownership calculations, POR definition, developing a response to a competitiveness scorecard.

What You'll Do

• Technical and operational management of the technology team in Salzburg, Berlin and other development sites, along with close alignment and support to the field technology team;

• Leading the development of differentiated electrochemical and wet processing applications such as clean, strip , develop and etching processes for panel and substrate technologies;

• Planning and execution of complex scientific and technical experiments;

• Evaluation, documentation and presentation of results and methods;

• Literature research of existing processes and products;

• Writing of technical reports and presentations;

• Customer Engagements for technology;

• Traveling for regular customer visits to cover issues, present and discuss our roadmaps and help manage escalations;

• Ownership of customer and inhouse demos in our labs;

• Manage all lab activities including , resource planning, customer demo request meeting, tool availability, metrology, chemical and waste management;

• Management and help to engineers running demos;

• Attending and presenting at trade shows and technology conferences;

• Publishing in academic and industry papers;

• Coordinating experiments with universities and internal Innovation department.

Profil

• Completed university studies (master's degree or diploma) in chemistry, electro chemical engineering, materials science or similar;

• At least 8-10 years of related experience;

• Several years of leadership experience and proven ability to lead a team;

• Business fluent English language skills;

• High customer orientation;

• Stress resilient;

• Strong technical interest;

• Solution orientated;

• Systematic approach and planning to ensure methodical progress and work and independent application of strategies and procedures for problem solving (e.g. FMEA);

• Good communication skills and intercultural competence.

Wir bieten

What We're Offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group I, depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
