Director of Sales & Business Development, UK

Your key responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to signed contract, ensuring opportunities progress to close.
  • Generate and qualify new pipeline through targeted outbound, partners, and industry events.
  • Lead discovery meetings, build business cases, and drive multi-stakeholder deal cycles to completion.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with procurement and executive stakeholders.
  • Maintainaccurateactivity, pipeline, and monthly revenue forecasting in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape solutions and proposals that win business.
What you bring
  • 5+ years quota carrying B2B sales experience in a full cycle closing role, consistently meeting or exceeding targets (IoT/tech strongly preferred).
  • Proven "hunter" profile: building your own pipeline, running structured sales processes, and closing mid-large deals.
  • Strong communicator in English, confident with C level meetings, written proposals, and commercial negotiations.
  • Data driven and organized, using CRM, metrics, and forecasting to manage territory and prioritize deals (HubSpot experience is a plus).
  • Self starter mindset: proactive, resilient, and comfortable working independently in a fast paced, remote environment.
  • Knowledge of LoRaWAN, smart building, or IoT ecosystems is an advantage, not a requirement.
  • Competitive base salary plus commission tied directly to closed revenue.
