About the role

The Director of Project Management will be responsible for leading and growing a multi-disciplinary team of customer-facing Implementation Programme and Project Managers across the UK and Kochi. These managers oversee the successful implementation of Zellis' solutions and services, supporting other customer engagements such as management consultancy, BI, analytics, and sales growth.

The candidate must be a strong people leader, accountable for building a centre of excellence in the UK and Kochi. Responsibilities include developing skills, managing performance, resource planning, and aligning with the Director of Implementation to ensure adequate staffing for all implementation and change delivery projects.

The role involves leading transformation initiatives to automate and accelerate customer delivery, working closely with Product and IT teams to embed new tools and ways of working, and ensuring quality and customer success. The Director will also support the development of new propositions, assets, and methods to improve efficiency and market responsiveness.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Achieving financial targets for the Implementation Service Lines, including managing budgets and revenue performance.
  2. Meeting delivery objectives such as employee engagement, time to value, lead generation, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  3. Growing the Implementation Service Lines by building skills and expertise.
  4. Developing top Project Managers in the HCM market.
  5. Scheduling resources effectively, ensuring full utilization without over-allocation.
  6. Managing capacity planning, recruitment recommendations, and conflict resolution.
  7. Supporting career development and performance management.
  8. Training teams on product/release changes for successful deployment.
  9. Contributing to propositions that leverage team skills and meet market needs.
  10. Implementing assets, methods, and automation to scale operations efficiently.
  11. Supporting chargeable activities and project QA as needed.
  12. Acting as a coach and advisor to maximize team potential.
  13. Growing offshore Service lines with clear roles and transition management.
  14. Building and engaging a high-calibre team.
  15. Supporting the delivery of the Director of Implementation's objectives.
