Director of Market Access - Oncology

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Market Access to join our team and lead our efforts in oncology market access. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market access and HEOR,with a proven track record of successfully navigating the evolving landscape of market access in the oncology field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement market access strategies for oncology products, ensuring optimal pricing, reimbursement, and access to patients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HEOR data into market access strategies and support value demonstration efforts
• Engage with payers, providers, and other key stakeholders to understand market needs and successfully negotiate access agreements
• Stay abreast of market access trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategy development
• Lead and mentor a team of market access professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in market access, with a focus on oncology
• Strong understanding of HEOR principles and their application in market access strategies
• Proven track record of successful negotiations with payers and other market access stakeholders
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results through collaboration and innovation

Day-to-day

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market access plans for oncology products
• Analyse HEOR data to inform pricing and reimbursement strategies
• Engage with payer and provider organizations to negotiate favorable access agreements
• Lead and mentor a team of market access professionals to execute on departmental goals
