Director of Finance

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Director of Finance on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong presence across Devon.

The Role

Working closely with senior leadership, you will take responsibility for both the strategic direction and operational management of the finance function. This is a hands on leadership role, requiring someone who is equally comfortable delivering strategy as they are improving processes at a granular level.

You will play a central role in:

• Leading and developing the finance function
• Driving improvements in systems, controls, and procedures
• Strengthening financial performance and supporting business growth
• Providing commercial insight to senior stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and financial requirements

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience within the legal sector
• Strong strategic and commercial mindset, combined with a hands on approach
• Experience of implementing change and improving financial processes
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior level
• Energetic, driven, and solutions focused
