An opportunity now exists in Longford County Council for the position of Director of Finance.

Job Summary/Description:

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Director of Finance will lead and manage the finance function within the Authority. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Director of Finance may also have other responsibilities in the overall management of the Authority. As a key member of the Senior Management team, the successful candidate will be required to make a valuable contribution to the strategic management of the Finance function as well as provide a high level of independence and objectivity.
