Director of Environmental Services

Kendal Crosslands Communities is seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Services to lead our Housekeeping and Laundry operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead housekeeping and laundry teams across multiple community areas.
• Oversee cleaning schedules, apartment/room turnovers, and public area maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and respond to resident concerns.
• Manage staffing, training, and team communication.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Develop and manage the annual operating and capital budgets.
• Support the Helping Hands Home Care Program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Services Management.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards in long term care or willingness to learn.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Professional appearance and commitment to exceptional service.
