King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a visionary and values-driven leader to join our senior People team as Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Organisational Development (OD). This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and delivering our strategic ambitions for an inclusive, high-performing culture across the Trust. You will lead the development and implementation of our DEI and OD strategies, embedding them into every aspect of organisational life-from recruitment and leadership development to cultural transformation and staff experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of the Trust's People and Culture Plan and Brilliant People strategy
- Drive cultural transformation and workforce engagement initiatives
- Champion diversity, equity and inclusion across all levels of the organisation
- Lead organisational development programmes and workforce education
- Provide strategic advice to the Chief People Officer, Executive Team and Trust Board
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed inclusive practices
- Manage transformational budgets and ensure value for money
- Role model Trust values and behaviours across the organisation

About youEssential Criteria:
- Degree-level education or equivalent qualification
- MCIPD qualified or equivalent experience
- Extensive senior-level experience in DEI and OD
- Proven track record of leading cultural transformation
- Strong strategic thinking and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of DEI principles and workforce analytics
- Experience influencing at Board level and managing complex change programmes
Desirable Criteria:
- Senior management experience in an NHS Trust
