King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a visionary and values-driven leader to join our senior People team as Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Organisational Development (OD). This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and delivering our strategic ambitions for an inclusive, high-performing culture across the Trust. You will lead the development and implementation of our DEI and OD strategies, embedding them into every aspect of organisational life-from recruitment and leadership development to cultural transformation and staff experience.

Main duties of the job
  • Lead the delivery of the Trust's People and Culture Plan and Brilliant People strategy
  • Drive cultural transformation and workforce engagement initiatives
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion across all levels of the organisation
  • Lead organisational development programmes and workforce education
  • Provide strategic advice to the Chief People Officer, Executive Team and Trust Board
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed inclusive practices
  • Manage transformational budgets and ensure value for money
  • Role model Trust values and behaviours across the organisation

Person specification Education & Qualifications
  • Degree Level education or equivalent qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
  • Extensive post-qualification experience gained in OD & EDI practices
  • Track record of delivery at Director/Senior management level, including exposure at board
  • Experience of staff & financial management
  • Experience leading change in large, complex organisations
