Director of Digital & Technology

The Role

As the new Director of Digital & Technology you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of digital and technology, to enable colleagues to deliver excellent services that enhance the tenant experience. You'll deliver fit for purpose, secure, resilient and value-for-money systems that underpin the delivery of the Corporate Strategy to 2030.

Reporting into the Executive Director of Corporate Resources, you'll be a key member of the leadership team, championing innovation and business partnerships, enabling technology to improve tenant outcomes and colleague experiences. Youll work closely with the wider Leadership Team and other key stakeholders across the organisation to shape and deliver the digital and technology strategy. Youll provide strategic advice and leadership on technology, digital and data innovation, with visibility and continued engagement with the Executive Team and Board.

The Candidate

Midland Heart are seeking a Digital/Technology Leader with a track record of senior leadership within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, where technology enables business transformation with measurable outcomes. You will be able to demonstrate proven successful leadership of an end-to-end IT function (strategy & governance, service, infrastructure/operations, development/integration, change, data, cyber, procurement & supplier management), with a history of creating a resilient and innovative service culture.

With responsibility for a budget of c£10m, you'll need to be commercially focused - driving commercial value from strategic supplier partnerships. A personable and inspiring leader is needed as youll lead and develop a team of c50 colleagues, ensuring they reach their full potential and continue to deliver value.
