This is a newly created and exciting opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial senior leader to shape and deliver Claremont's commercial strategy.

Claremont Fan Court School is a thriving independent co-educational day school for over 1,100 pupils aged 2 to 18, set within 100 acres of landscaped grounds in Esher, Surrey. Claremont has grown significantly over the past eight years, with pupil numbers increasing by 50% and the Sixth Form doubling in size. This growth, alongside strengthening academic outcomes and reputation, places Claremont in a strong position as it looks to the future.

This is a newly created and exciting opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial senior leader to shape and deliver Claremont's commercial strategy. Reporting to the Finance Director and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Commercial Strategy will grow and diversify non-fee income streams, cultivate strategic partnerships, explore international and domestic growth opportunities and lead development and fundraising activities in support of the school's long-term financial sustainability and educational mission.

Candidates will have a proven track record in commercial leadership, revenue growth or business development, coupled with the strategic insight, creativity and financial acumen to turn ideas into viable ventures. They will be accomplished relationship-builders and communicators with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Prior experience in the education sector is not required, and applications are encouraged from a broad range of sectors.
