About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Director of Client Services to lead and develop our Client Services function, overseeing a team of around 25 talented professionals.

This is a pivotal leadership role for a commercially driven individual with a strong background in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing who thrives on building client relationships, driving performance, and empowering teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a Client Services team of 25, including six direct reports

  • Drive client retention and revenue growth across the portfolio
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, providing strategic direction and commercial insight
  • Support and guide your direct reports with key client relationships and wider team management
  • Act as a trusted escalation point for high-profile pitches and complex client challenges
  • Sit as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), ensuring clear communication and alignment between Senior leadership and the wider Client Services function
  • Lead input into new business pitches and proposals
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance within the team
  • Demonstrate strong conflict resolution and client relationship management skills
  • Hold overall responsibility for team targets and performance outcomes
About You
  • A proven commercial leader with significant experience in digital marketing, ideally with deep knowledge of SEO and PPC
  • Demonstrated ability to improve client retention and drive revenue growth
  • Confident managing large teams and developing senior client service professionals
  • Skilled communicator who can balance strategic oversight with hands on leadership
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities, with a calm and professional approach to escalation and challenge
  • Comfortable operating at a senior level within a fast paced, evolving business
