Job Description

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic leader for a Director Mutual Fund Accounting EMEA & Strategic Client Operations role in their global firm based in Dublin. This is a leadership opportunity within the FA area to manage one of their key clients. The area is highly automated with a huge focus on using AI initiatives to enhance delivery and client reporting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, managing a key client relationship, and leading a high-performing team dedicated to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilitie
  • Oversee the daily NAV calculation process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as the primary client contact for discussions related to KPIs, service-level agreements, product launches, regulatory updates, escalations, and governance
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and align with strategic business goals
  • Manage, mentor, and develop team members, providing regular performance reviews and professional development support
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders on projects related to regulatory changes, process optimization, and system enhancements

Requiremen
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in fund accounting operations wiith min 10 years in mutual fund accounting
  • In-depth understanding of fund accounting processes
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing high-performing team
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with auditors, clients, and market data provider
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related disciplin
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
