In this senior leadership role, you will define and execute the data and analytics strategy for a global digital organization, transforming diverse data sources into actionable intelligence that drives growth. You will lead and expand a high performing team, oversee the full analytics and BI ecosystem, and shape how insights guide decisions across content, marketing, product, and revenue operations. You will modernize data capabilities by integrating new technologies, establishing governance standards, and preparing the foundation for future data engineering and data science capabilities. This position offers high autonomy, strategic impact, and the opportunity to influence decision making across all business units.
Accountabilities- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts and BI specialists, cultivating a collaborative and innovation oriented culture.
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data and Analytics function and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
- Establish KPIs, processes, and operational standards to drive excellence, accuracy, and high value output across the department.
- Promote a data driven culture by ensuring teams have access to reliable insights that support strategic and operational decisions.
- Oversee analytics programs using tools such as Google Analytics, Comscore, SimilarWeb, Power BI, and other modern data solutions.
- Transform complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations for executives and cross functional stakeholders.
- Partner with content, product, sales, and marketing teams to optimize engagement, performance, and revenue strategies through data.
- Architect and manage the data ecosystem, ensuring quality, scalability, governance, and secure integration of data from multiple sources.
- Implement and enhance data platforms across Microsoft and Google cloud environments while evaluating new tools and methodologies.
- Prepare for future leadership of data engineering and data science capabilities, ensuring readiness for advanced analytics initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
- Significant experience in data and analytics with proven leadership of high performing analytics or BI teams.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft BI tools such as Power BI or Fabric, as well as Google Analytics and BigQuery.
- Demonstrated ability to build analytics strategies that support executive decision making and business growth.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex insights for senior leadership.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem solving capability, and experience managing multiple high priority initiatives.
- Experience with ETL or ELT processes, data modeling, or data warehousing is highly valued.
- Skills in SQL or Python for advanced analysis are a plus.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, content performance indicators, and subscription based business models is beneficial.
