About the Role:
The Director, Customer Success - UK is a key leadership role within PubMatic's Go To Market organization, responsible for driving the success, retention, and growth of publisher partnerships across the UK market. Leading a small team of Customer Success Managers, this role ensures delivery of exceptional service, measurable performance outcomes, and strategic business impact for our publisher partners.
Reporting into the regional leadership team, you will define and execute the UK customer success strategy, align cross functional resources to deliver against commercial objectives, and position PubMatic as a trusted, long term partner to the UK publishing ecosystem. This is a fixed term 12 month maternity cover position with the possibility of extension, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to PubMatic's continued growth and leadership in the programmatic space.
What You'll Do:
Lead and Empower:
- Develop and execute the UK customer success strategy in alignment with regional and global priorities.
- Foster a collaborative, high performance culture focused on strategic partnership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Drive Publisher Success:
- Partner with UK publishers to accelerate revenue growth, optimize monetization, and ensure long term success across the PubMatic platform.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, championing PubMatic's technology, innovation roadmap, and differentiated value proposition.
- Ensure best in class customer service delivery and consultative support across publisher engagements.
Own Growth and Performance:
- Take full ownership of the UK customer success revenue targets and business performance, ensuring delivery of consistent, measurable results.
- Use analytics and data driven insights to identify opportunities for growth and address challenges proactively.
- Partner with Ad Solutions and Sales teams to maximize yield and connect publisher supply with demand for optimal results.
- Work cross functionally with regional Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to drive unified strategic execution and customer value.
- Provide actionable feedback from publishers to inform product development and commercial planning.
- Champion the voice of the publisher internally to ensure alignment with evolving market needs.
We'd Love for You to Have:
- 8+ years of experience in digital media, adtech, or SaaS, with a focus on customer success, account management, or publisher development.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams to meet ambitious revenue and retention goals.
- Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, publisher monetization, and supply side technologies.
- Proven ability to synthesize data and insights to inform strategy and drive business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence C suite and senior executives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities - able to translate complex solutions into impactful business value.
- Thrives in a fast paced, solution oriented, and collaborative environment.
- Based in London, with flexibility to travel within the UK and regionally as needed.
