Director
Posted 9 hours 38 minutes ago by Edinburgh Professionals
I am a Chartered Safety Practitioner with over a decade of experience in both operational and strategic management of safety and health.
I have worked on projects ranging in size and complexity from £5,000 up to £320 million value.
My experience is in supporting both senior leadership teams of multinational corporations (my day job) and in supporting local small business start ups (as a mentor volunteer).
As a former Associate Director for one of the largest consultancy businesses in the world, I understand the need for solid advice and guidance that may be required to defend the position of a company or director in future disputes or legal actions taken.
My experience ranges from taking an organisation with a poor compliance record (including fatalities) to receiving awards for "best in class" within two years.
I can provide specialist knowledge and support for Construction (Design and Management) projects. Usually shortened to CDM, I can support clients and also design houses to discharge their legal duties. I am also able to support principal contractors on site audit and inspection, site set up and document creation.
I am a qualified safety leader, holding extensive experience and qualifications in several areas:
- Health and Safety Management
- Leadership and Management
- Advice and Guidance to Strategic Leaders
- PRINCE2
If you want to be supported in a critical project from the start (proactive) or you need an emergency response / crisis management (reactive) service, I have significant experience in both.
