In this dynamic role, you'll be the go-to expert, crafting and evolving technology roadmaps that power smarter, more efficient services. You'll champion automation, modern methodologies, and compliance, ensuring our digital landscape is future-ready.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of strategic digital solutions.
• Share your technical expertise across the Council and with external partners.
• Manage complex, high-impact projects from concept to completion.
• Oversee support, training, and continuous improvement of ICT services.
• Inspire and mentor a talented team, while managing contracts and budgets.

What We're Looking For

• Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Digital Design, Information Technology, or relevant experience.
• Proven experience in developing digital solutions, with a strong focus on integration development using tools such as Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellent service.
