Overview

Join Barclays as a Digital Product Manager, where you'll be at the forefront of defining product vision, strategy, and priorities, driving large scale change activities that deliver value for clients and the business. This role requires commercial acumen, extensive stakeholder management, and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.

Location

This role will be based in our London or Glasgow office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define product strategy that aligns with business vision, manage capabilities, and balance short term and long term goals.
  • Lead cross functional alignment and ensure product strategy and goals are shared across teams.
  • Oversee product risk management, identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain alignment with control functions.
  • Own the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring efficient processes, on time delivery, and alignment with end to end customer expectations.
  • Deliver clear objectives and key outcomes to steer product vision and align with company business goals, financial targets, and strategic vision.
  • Make data driven decisions by monitoring performance, assessing progress against objectives, and adjusting strategies to optimise outcomes.
  • Adopt a customer first approach, incorporating insights, feedback, behaviours, and pain points at the core of strategy and decisions.
  • Apply business and financial acumen to understand pricing models, cost structures, and ROI for product development.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Strategic trade off decision making across products, funding, and outcome versus client needs.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate vision, strategy, and priorities across multiple teams at all levels.
  • Commercial insight to align product direction with PBWM strategy.
  • Deep understanding of scaled agile frameworks (BRP, cross squad alignment) and agile at scale.
  • Metric focused: define and track portfolio level success metrics and outcomes.
  • Leadership experience providing strategic direction across product owners and squads.
  • Risk and control awareness, change and transformation capability, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital technology knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in banking or financial services product management.
  • Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving large scale change.
  • Proficiency in using data and market research to inform decisions and prioritise features.
