Digital Practice Specialist

Key Responsibilities
(Responsibilities may vary based on experience level)
- Support and guide project teams daily on the use of digital tools, workflows, and delivery strategies.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of project-specific digital plans.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and basic to intermediate customization of digital tools.
- Ensure modeling quality, adherence to firmwide best practices, and consistency of information across platforms.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and help document and share effective workflows and standards.
- Lead or assist in the planning and delivery of training sessions and workshops on digital tools and workflows.
- Contribute to digital innovation initiatives at both the studio and firm level.
- Stay current with emerging design technologies, industry trends, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with the Digital Practice team and report to the studio's Digital Practice Manager.
- Understanding of digital design and delivery workflows within architecture and interior architecture design.
- Proven experience of leading digital project delivery across RIBA stages.
- Ability to support multiple projects and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong written, oral, and graphic communication skills.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- (For more experienced candidates) Capacity to lead digital delivery strategies, manage quality assurance efforts, and mentor team members.
Digital Project Delivery & Software Skills
Experience with or interest in developing proficiency in the following tools:
- Design Coordination: BIM360, Navisworks, Solibri
- Visualization: Enscape, Twin Motion, Unreal, D5, Adobe Creative Cloud
- Data & Analysis: Excel, PowerBi
- Computational Design & Scripting: Grasshopper, Dynamo
- Additional Tools: Other applications in the Perkins&Will design technology suite
Education & Certifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design, or related field
- Required: LEED Green Associate within 6 months of hire
